Hello

I am new here att the forum.
I am curently waiting for a camaro 69 that is at the cargo chip on its way from Usa to Sweden.

I am going to get it painted in volvo oceanrace blue.
Some big rims i am thinking american racing tt2. Mayby somebody have some other tip for rims?
And I am looking at airrides, airbar system and some shockwaves for the front.

Some new front seats for the interior, everything in the interiror will be redone this winter. Whit original parts. (Black)

What do you guys think of all this do you have some tips what I should do more with my car.

I donīt want to cut it up, I want to be able to change it back.

we are an airride dealer....There stuff is well made and well thought out! You will enjoy the adjustability!

I would do something other than TT2's they are a good looking wheel but overdone! IMO

I don't know what kind of price range you are looking at or what sizes...but here is some links to some sites

http://www.introwheels.com/ (I am a dealer for these also)
http://www.budnik.com/
http://www.bonspeed.com/
http://www.ccwheel.com/files/home.php
http://www.billetspecialties.com/
http://www.billetwheel.com/

On a camaro I would go at least 18's all the way around if you really want to stand out go 18's and 20's! And yes the air bar is an easy fit you shouldn't have any difficulties!

Hi Robert,

When is your car arriving to Sweden, and where are you at?

I think that you should consider other wheels than TT2's, I think they are to common. There are a lot of wheels to choose from, both European and American. You know that BMW has the same boltpattern. Just 0.6mm difference.

To fit the optimum sizes you have to go with special backspacing that TT2 don't offer unless you special order. Budnik or Boyd make them on order at no extra charge. My wheels from Budnik fits perfectly and was not much more costly than TT2's

Yeah TT2 are too common. Centerline's are what I am thinking about.

Well since we are spending your money here we go!

A set of budnik wheels9(maybe a set of spark or GTX's)
A twin turboed LS2
manual T56-Automatic 4L80E with a twist machine paddle shifter
4 wheel discs(Bear or wilwood)
air ride on all 4 corners

Hi again

That sounds very nice.
This winter I will be buying new wheels. (The sparkīs look very nice . Does anybody know were I can find the price on them. 18*9,5 in the back and 18*8 in the front.)
Painting it.
Doing the interior.

This is for sure.

And if I am lucky It will be airride this year to.(money Isue )
The motor and tranny will be un touched this year they are new renovated.

Next winter I will swap the motor and tranny out.
I am a little into building the engine around a 4 bolted stel block.
Whit eagel crank and rods, je pistons. Trickflowheads, custom cam.
Injection, maybye Nira(Swedish) Or Megasquirt(Wich I have built and tuned befor). Two t04E chargers, Homemade manifolds.

I hope it all works my way.
Becaus this is my dream car since I first read about Chip Fooses Orange 69 PT car.
I would imagine it was the almost the first PT car built. Corect me if I am wrong.

Robert

I though Chip's camaro was a new release? I beleive Big Red was the first PT car although Street Fighter is more like it...I consider the Mule to be the first all around PT car...I know Mark built others before but the Mule has it all!!!
