Default Educate me.. ZR1 on ebay

NO NO! Im not looking to buy. (I wish ) I just want an education. Its says its a corporate vehicle. It seems like I've seen or heard that you can't title one of those vehicles. That maybe they don't have Vin #'s or something?? I just thought it might be an interesting discussion.

Well, it has a vin so it's not a validation car. The ones without VINs can't be sold.. they have to be eventually crushed (engine and all).

That was most likely a demo model or one taken around to the various new car shows.

Not true on the Vin numbers, I have two manufacture cars right now with Vins that I can never register. they are called pilot vehicles for the manufactures and it is what they use to test out the machines and get the cars on the road to find out how they do. We have been doing the manufacture cars for almost 10 years now and everyone we have had has gone to the cursher. They use them for a few years and then they crush them for the tax break. they make way more that way then selling them

"Corporate" vehicle, sometimes called "Program" cars. Well-placed execs etc get these, and typically beat the snot out of them before turning them in.
