Default Mitchell Bros. Camaro?

I am looking for any contact information for the Mitchell Brothers. They have a build-up that I am interested in. I believe it's a '68 Camaro, dubbed "ZR/28" or something like that. It boasts a IRS rear suspension and a ZR-1 'Vette engine from the early 90's. Any contact info on the builder/owner would GREATLY be appreciated. Thanks alot for your help, fellas.

That looks like a great build. Some nice attention to detail going into it from what I saw in the pics.

Thank goodness! First of all, excellent build-up. I've been drooling over this build for quite sometime now. I want to know a little more about the fab process of the rear sub-frame and the IRS set-up. Who provided the heavy-duty "bat wing" for this vehicle? I have a '69 Camaro that I want to do a similar set-up for and your vehicle is an EXCELLENT reference for me.
Sending PM!

The bat wing is a stock Dana 44 rear end cover that I modified. I had a local machine shop water jet, out of aluminum, the tube shapes needed to insert into the holes of the wings. I then covered the front and back with aluminum skins. Then ground the welds and polished. I would love to post some pics but they are all too large and I don't know how to reduce them. I know that Paul Newman, www.newmancarcreations.com has a batwing that he has produced but I don't know anything about it.

Thanks for the kind words srh3trinity.

This is a picture of the aluminum parts that I was trying to describe in yesterday's post along with the finished installation.

Mr. Mitchell,
Thanks for the chit-chat the other day...
I was wondering if you had the plans/drawing for those frame rails that Art Morrison custom bent for you? I called Scott at AME, and there in NO record of the drawings. He explained to me that they only keep drawings for about five years...if you could help me in this matter, I would greatly appreciate it.
You have been a great inspiration to me. I'm ready to roll on with this project.

What I did was make a template of the profile of the floor of the Camaro where the old frame rails were removed. I took the template to AME and they bent the 2x3 rails to my specs. I think they gave the template back to me but I don't remember. I will look to see if I still have it. I thought that Don (since retired) told me they were going to keep the information but since it was a template and not a CAD drawing, probably not. Nothing keeping you from doing it the same way as I did though. Craig Morrison, any comments?

Please, what's with the Mr. Mitchell crap. Perry will do just fine.
