Mario, sent you a pm.

Blake Espinoza is the owner of Rod Craft. Rod Craft bought the Willy's body manufacturing side of IDA Automotive a while back.

I would ask Jason Rushforth also. He is uber popular in the mighty PNW...

Thumbs down 2 sides to every story.

You if you had time, seems you do with all the you've posted here. I could tell you my side . Not that it matters , all I ever here is the stuff you and a couple of others have emailed me about the storys you have come up with at happy hour or something.
As far as MIA ? Nothing is farther from the truth. i hear I tried calling 100 times....... Ok did you leave a message ? NO. If you don't leave a message how do we know you called ?? Come on.
I have been in contact with Tim O'Connell who is going to finish this build when it gets to ILL.
We have sent numerous emails with pictures he claims to never have gotten ? I have & left messages @ F & F to get in contact with Frank about this car.
So there you go, a small section of my side & we are not going anywhere soon , Blake Espinoza

Power of the internet right there. Mario, have your buddy get ahold of Blake and get this figured out. I will say, those Ida Willys are top notch, I was so close to doing one of those years ago.

I wouldn't want to read through a bunch of he-said-he-said, but it is very good that this shop owner posted up a reply. It's a lot better to have at least some kind of opposing comment so folks can form their own opinions. You can usually listen to both sides and figure out what sounds credible by how each responds.

I have to say, this forum has more horror stories than any I visit... and I am a car forum junkie. Very sad.
