Default Brushed bumpers

I have a question. I saw a car for sale on here, and cannot find the link, but it has satin or brushed bumpers on it. It looked really good. Is that something that I can have done to my bumpers, and should I? Would it look good this way, or should I leave it chrome? I have brushed rims, and a ton of billet pieces that are brushed. What do you think? Also what place can do this?

You mean this car? https://lateral-g.net/forums/show...hlight=brushed

My 'guess' is that it's painted?

It does look painted but I think brushed would actually look even better!

Get them dechromed, sanded smooth then scuff to desired finish before clearing them.

Maz, I have been debating this exact same thing and I was just looking at your car on Saturday and saying how well the brushed wheels lips still worked with the polished/chrome trim and bumper(s) on your car.

I believe on SW Chopper's (sp?) Chevelle that he bought from Chris Moe last year he brushed or de-chromed the bumpers too....

the air ride car velocity has shorten and brushed bumper, and i think it will work very well on your car.

Hey guys, yeah I think Ill do this, but I have some bills to pay off first. If I get my new contract Ill rip into the car again for a third time, and at that time Ill do the side windows, bumpers and trim. I really like the ones I have seen done. I'm not real sure on how hard it is to get the side vented windows out though. Thanks guys.

front and rear bumpers were $2200.00 to have them nickle plated , the front glass and rear glass trim was $1800.00 , then all the other trim was about $500.00
