Nice work, by the way. Care to do a 68 Firebird (in other words, a guinea pig)???

This is the best and most observent question asked so far. Since I installed this in my 69 camaro and now a 70 camaro I know the perfect answer. I can tell you the 2nd gen camaros have a LOT more leg room. It appears that there is at least a 2-5" difference. I am not sure if the floor is lower than a 1st gen or if the dash is higher or if the trans tunnel is taller but there is a lot more room in the 2nd gen camaro.
As for the electrical, I will probably do the same with his car that I did with my 69 Camaro. I made almost all the new 2002 gauges work with the 69 electronics like lights, heater, wipers......I will do the same with his. I do know he is going fuel injection and is using the vintage air set up.
Yes I can do your 68 Firebird. It would probably be almost exactly the same as my 69 Camaro. Bring it by and I will have your dash and console in that day.

Im in Michigan. If you want front and rear 4th gen seats I can probably do all that the same day too. I am very confident I can install a 4th gen interior in 1 day max. (if the windshield is already out)
Thanks for the compliment Shannon. I could only dream of having the talent that you have. Your work is very inspiring! I will probably get ahold of you when I do the door panels for the 69 and the 70 camaros.
