QA-1 vs. Varishock

Im finishing up my stock 67 camaro stock subframe and i'm getting ready to buy my speed tech upper and lower arms. I have a couple of questions:

#1: How necessary is it to go with a 2 way adjustable coilover setup on the front (and rear for that matter). Planning on using the G-link later.

#2: Is QA-1 and varishock comparibly equal? or is one better than the other?
