Default Hotchkiss tie rod sleeves won't fit

I'm rebuilding my front end (69 Firebird) and my new tie rod sleeves won't tread onto my Moog tie rod ends.....anyone have this issue?

more info needed, are they too small?, some 1st gen may have a 11/16' instead of 5/8' thread

Sorry man,

I was in a hurry and a little ticked. They're too small. I got them as part of the TVS kit. I saw on the website that some cars had larger sleeves. I got the kit through Year One. I hope they'll exchange them.

There are two different F-Body sleeve sizes. Call Year One, they should take care of you. If not give us a call.

I've got to hand it to Year One's customer service. They Rock! I had a brand new set of correct sleeves in less than two days........that's simply awesome and they didn't require me to send the wrong ones back first. In fact, they had the UPS guy pick em up at the same time. THANKS YEAR ONE!
