Default Pro Touring in DFW

As I've grown to love this type of build and started my own build I have talked to more people who are building a Pro Touring car. I found these 2 on opposite ends of Fort Worth.Name: DSC_1045.jpg

The Blue 69 belongs to the manager of Speedtek performance here locally. It has a Heidts subframe and and 4 Link. The 4 link was modified to fit a mini tubbed car. Why Heidts hasnt done this I don't know. He and I will have similar builds since I have the Heidts subframe as well. We both have LS2 engines so we laugh about the similarities.

The Tangelo Pearl is the color I want for my car and is a Detroit Speed car Thru and Thru. Twin Turbo charged LS1. He wouldn't let me show the engine bay on camera but the set up looks nasty. He has a tire set up with scary low profile tires. Car is Air Ride equiped and has a sweet interior job. GAWD I love Tangelo. This town may not be big enough for 2 Tangelo 69's.

The blue one is a good friend of mines car. That car has been a PT car with a LS motor way before it was so popular. Its good to see its finally going back together with a FEW minor changes. The new wheel combo looks killer.

Yeah the Blue 69 will be a great source of inspiration locally. He was very pleasant to me when I was in the shop looking for info on parts. I say that because its been my experience since deciding to restore a car I have been treated with fair amount disrespect and resistance. That excludes everyone on this site and ProTouring.com which are filled with helpful people.
