Default LS/4L60 conversion

Can anyone tell me if GMPP makes a kit that includes both computers and the complete drive by wire set up for a conversion? I hear they do but I've been unable to locate it. I know Street and Performance has it all separately but I'm looking for it all together in a one stop can't screw it up kit? A part number or numbers would be great!!

I think your best bet may be to call Scoggin Dickey Chev. They may have the info you need.

Both computers???

Question....I have a 78 Camaro with a GTO LS1 / 4L60e, and I only have the PCM in it done via Speartech.
I had another computer but was told I didn't need it......was that incorrect??

Will it run better with everything used??

Your stock LS computer needs to be programmed to operate the transmission. We sent ours to Street and Performance and they added the trans programming to the prom and they also sent us the trans control cables/plugs/pins to add the pigtail to the LS ECM wiring harness.

Or you can install and wire up a seperate trans controller - we just chose not to do it and spent the extra dollars to integrate the package.

Default straighten me out

So are you saying that I actually won't need the tranny controller? That would help a poor man out tremendously.

Correct. We dumped the trans controller and used the functionality in the ECM/PCM. You need to add the correct pins and harness to the ECM to interface it all correctly.

We didn't use the trans controller - because we used that space (63 coupe vette - little space to start with) for push-button trans shifter in the center console and the Shifter Control Module went in the trans controller's space.

We purchased the 4L85E trans and interface cables/pins from Street and Performance and they reflashed the ECM for use to operate it behind an LS2.
