Default Need opinions on front seats

So the current seats in my '69 Camaro feel like plywood. My daily driver is an '07 Tahoe LTZ and I love the way those seats feel. I don't really know if I should stick with a racing style seat or more of a modern seat.

Any opinions on a comfortable racing style seat and/or a modern seat that wouldn't look too "out of place" in a 41 year old car? This car is going to be driven regularly and on short road trips so we'd like something comfy if it won't look out of place.

I'm not sure what exactly I'm looking for... Help me out! Thanks!

Aftermarket seats usually suck in the comfort dept IMO.
I almost bought a set of really nice Corbeau's but luckily
a local ricer shop had 2 models I was considering in stock.

After going to sit in them, I'm sooooooo glad I didn't.
They felt like cardboard over brick with very cheap fabric.
So many people make this mistake of buying seats because
of how they LOOK and the price, and then they get them and
are too proud to admit they suck.

I bought 4th gen SS seats for my 78 Camaro, because they
were 100x more "cushy" for a cruiser. Who needs "race seats"
unless you're actually racing ya know ?? I wanted comfort.
IMHO the 2004-2006 GTO seats are the absolute best seats I've ever sat in.

Front AND rear......very plush and bolstered good. 4th Gen seats
are very commonly put into these cars as well.

I just paid over $900 to restore my 70 Olds 442 seats and I can
honestly say, they suck compared to modern seats.

I really like the look of the Recaro seats. I was checking out their website and saw they have child seats! Ha ha, that's awesome! Whenever we decide to have kids, I'm totally buying one of those!

They do look comfy. I wonder if I could find some without the "GTO" stitched into the leather...
