Default JCG Restoration & Customs 70 Z28 Camaro

I got the bug for second gen Camaros! I got to stop working on my own cars I call it "Research & Development" LOL

We are cutting, stretching, bulging, & mini tubing.. This orignal 70 Z28 will follow a true Trans Am Style look to it... Have Ben H working on the rendering

Those are 345-30- 19 in the back We are still working on seeing how we are going to be able to have it at this ride height without hitting the outer fender well...

Will post so more pics later tonight with more information!!!

The upper qtr panel opening is proving to a challenge The angle is not allowing me to ride the tire in position I have it now without tire rub on a suspension rebound.. Back to some more "research & development".. Might need to step down to a 335-30-18

Dude---you are the man! That looks sick---shoot, even if you have to step the size down, it isn't going to take away from it IMHO. Please keep the pics coming bro--great work as always.

Was great hanging with you and the boys (and girls) at Del Mar and the after party---looking forward to seeing you again in May!

Thanks Doug! The stance on your 9 is driving me to achieve the stance as low as I can get it.. I will get it but will take some metal massaging & some custom rear suspension..

It was great hanging out with you too.. Looking forward to hanging out again in May.. Maybe Albert will be back down again for Costa Mesa..

Cris, it looks great so far. I agree with Doug too, if you had to step down to a 335/30/18 I don't think it would take away from car at all. Did you see Brian's Camaro by the end of Saturday? I was driving behind him, leaving the autocross and that his car just looked all business, and killer at the same time. I think Chad was saying he lowered it an inch sometime during Saturday. So are you stuffing a 285 up front?

Matt

Cris, that thing looks freakin killer. I love it. I've got a 73 that is gonna need that treatment. I love the work you are doing lately. Those stretched fenders look great.

Thanks Matt.. taking a few weeks off from the project till I come up with different tires for the rear to try out.. Brian F car is an awsome looking car & the stance is great on his car.. Front tires are still up in the air.. running the stock sub-frame with suspension up-grades.. Making a few custom pcs for the front suspension.. got a sway bar idea.. making custom hubs for maximum size on tires, & a few other pcs that we are designing that I will keep under wraps till they are done..

Got a carbon fiber hood

Running a small block with a TKO 5 speed

Rear suspension will be ???

Wheels will be "Gen Lite"

The car was citrus green.. with dark green interior

Going with snake skin green with black stripes.. & black interior
