Default lowering the front of my 69 camaro

i am plannign on lowering the front of my 69 camaro. i also am tryin to find a bigger tire to go in the front...right now i am running 225/50R16 in the front and 245/50R16 in the rear my rims are eagle alloy series 212 16x8 and i think nuetral b/s i am worried about my header clearance w/ hooker super comps..i am thinking 255/50 in the rear and 225/55. in the front...i am thinking the 55's in the front b/c it is a little taller than the 50's any littel bit may help in the clearance issue...i think this would work and still look good..i persoanally dont think you would be able to tell the difference...would this work on the front......

sidewall height

225/50R16 - 4.87

255/50R16 - 5.01

your right you would not be able to tell as the front sidewall would be a little smaller than the rear

I haven't dealt with many 1sr gen camaros but I would say with a 4.5 you couldn't go much more than a 235 front......but again I have never had one

You might be able to get a 245/50 up front, but I'm not too sure. And if I remember correctly, isn't 4.5" b.s. on a 8" rim 0 offset? That would make it neutral, right? I ate taco bell. I'm kinda retarded right now. Sorry.

Backspace includes the rim lip, the lip adds .5" to the rim on each side, so an 8" rim measures 9" lip to lip, 4.5 bs should be 0 offset.
