Full disclosure:
2nd gear popout was repaired before I purchased the car somewhere around 25-28k miles, then returned around 45k miles and I have been driving it as such since. It does not bother me and it is easily avoided. Many opinions on this.

Recently was keyed on front left quarter panel (see pic). Is not very deep.

A couple of small nicks in the paint that were there when I bought the car, and a small door ding in door that I and others barely notice. Paint and overall condition very very good for 60k+ mile car.

This car has been my daily driver for 2 years and 30k miles. Only selling to raise capital for my struggling business. If clients would pay me for services already rendered, I damn well would be keeping the car!

Car has never been tracked or launched hard on street. Mainly commuting and highway pulls.

Have Calif smog cert from March 2010.

See the evolution of my car since I purchased it April 2008 - last 15 pics of album were taken today.

Car located in San Francisco (home) and San Ramon, CA (office). Please PM or email me at dwgordon at gmail if interested.

Asking $47k.

Might be interested in trade for E60 M5 or E55 AMG + fair amount of cash.

Thanks Tone... it is a blast for sure. Would love to keep it. And it is insanely stable at extremely high speeds.

Bummer Dave--sorry to see this one up for sale also----hope you are able to bring in those AR balances that sound very delinquent at this point.

I hope you can come see us this coming weeked at Pleasanton bro--you can run the cones with us there--my passenger seat is open to you all day Sat and Sun. I'm sure Todd's will be as well---hope to see you out there.

Hey Doug, thanks for the words bro. I am hoping I can get caught up a little here soon before I have to really make this is a fire sale. Or I may have to part it out and bring it back to near stock to make it more marketable to the typical Porsche buyer. We shall see..

Yes, I was just getting ready to PM you and Todd and make sure to hook up with you guys at the show. I would love to see and ride in a both of your cars if given the chance. I am still and always will be a musclecar guy at heart.

I'll PM you guys now.

Sorry to see you're having some nasty collection issues Flash.

I get ticked off if I get the incorrect change after purchasing my favorite meal at Mickey D's. I can't imagine how it would feel if they owed me a lot of Happy Meals.

I like the Porsche built '91-95 500E/E500's. Those owners may do a trade plus a bunch of cash. It's a widely held belief that the W124 series were the best Mercedes ever built. Likely you've driven or ridden in one .

Thanks Skip. Trying to claw my way back so maybe I can score something like that certain Orange 1st gen roller for sale...

That's a killer video! Man I can't believe an old Benzo can handle like that! Is that what I drove out here for a little spin that one time? I am thinking so?

I really have my eye on an 05-06 E55 AMG... nearly 500hp and over 500 ft lbs from the factory and pure comfort. That should do for a DD. And they are getting so cheap and easy to find.

Dave, actually the car in the auto-x vid was this model. Took 18 days to build, sticker was $80K+, only 1500 came into the US from 1992-95. I suggested it also as a way to keep more cash in your pocket when you replace the Porsche.

You drove this car.

Its a '73 450 SE.

I know what you mean about Sloan's orange '67 for sale...that's a special car among so many 1st gens.
