Difference in computer for auto to 6 speed??

2000 LS1 question...Is there a difference in the computer programming from an automatic to a 6 speed? If the engine/comp was originally an auto do you have to run an auto?

There is a difference in the programming of the computer and in the wiring harness. You can change both however, by reprogramming the computer and re-pinning the harness for the manual transmission wires.

if it was originally an auto you can just upload a 6 speed file and you are good to go
