Default Mercedes CLS seats

While waiting for the paintshop I've been shopping! I'm looking to put Mercedes CLS (2006) seats in my 69 Bird since they have the integrated seatbelts and look really classy. Has anyone installed these in a 1. Gen yet? How much can I expect to mod?

If your are lookingn for OEM seats with integrated seat belts start looking at the convertible seats. Most of the high end convertibles have seats with integrated seat belts. The BMW E46 (M3, etc) convertible seats have integrated seat belts.

Check out these threads on pro-touring for more info on the BMW seats.

I know you got the Mercedes seats. But for anyone else looking the cadillac cts seats are a nice seat with integrated shoulder belts. A set can be had for $350 bucks. Also the chrysler sebring seats are very similar. Similar prices too.

I ended up with the CTS seats. Drop shipped to my local shipper. Heavy duty seats. Just gotta figure out the wiring for controls now. Not a big deal. OH. And try to make sure the air bag is completely out of the circuit. Dont want to accidentally rip the sides of the seats out with a wrong wiring. JR

Id have to go back and find the auction. I bought them off ebay. Was two front seats and the rear seat backs and bottoms for $350. I cant use the back seats so I stripped the cloth off just in case I can use it for something. So it looks like its an 03-07 seat.

Identical to these seats, Almost looks like the same auction, cept the price.

See the seat belt is all inclusive to the seat. Kinda a nice package IMO. JR

And look at the sebring seats. They look pretty colse to the cts seats. Just a lil diff.
