Default Rear Shock Tower Brace?

what are the expert's opinion on this?

effective upgrade? or not...
would this really help stop flexing when the main shock load is vertical?

I've posted the link to the product here....

I remember a lengthy discussion either here or PT.com right after it was introduced. If I remember correctly, the consensus was that it would indeed help on cars that didn't have many other suspension mods.

it will most likely take some of the squeaks and creaks out by preventing the trunk floor from flexing... but handling upgrade?.. not so much
