Default Window Trim Blackout

I've seen a few cars here with there windsheild trim blacked out. Got that figured out, but, wondering how to blackout the 1/4 glass trim etc. It's stainless so questioning paint sticking to it, and as the glass goes up and down, paint would rub off. Any other suggestions?

Thanks,
Bill

We sandblast the chrome off. You could sand it hard with 80 grit and self etch prime it and paint.

Frank, have you seen any issues with the paint holding up over time with the window going up and down?
