2nd gen F-body door latches - Lateral-g Forums

I need some help from the 2nd gen owners. I am researching the 2nd gen door latches. I have seen a change in the driver's side door latch. There is a hole on the latch that has changed. I think the change took place in 1975. The hole on the pre 75 is round and the hole is hour glass shaped on the 75 and later years.....I think. I have posted some pics of the latches with hole in question circled in red.
The first two pictures are of the driver's side latch and the third is the passenger's side. If the latch is installed in the door the hole is located on the upper side of the latch just below where the key lock cylinder attaches to the latch. This is close to the outer skin side if the door.
Can I get some people that have their door panels off to look at both their doors and post back their findings? I am looking for round or hour glass shaped and the year model of the car.

With the help of a member, we found a hole in my research. It seems that his 72 Camaro has the hour glass shaped hole in the driver's side latch.
Anyone else with these 2nd gens able to help out?
