Default AFX Spindles and ZR1 Brakes

Has anyone looked at putting the ZR1 carbon-ceramic brakes on AFX spindles? With SKF hubs?

Keep in mind the ZO6 Hubs DO NOT fit the AFX spindle. the casting is slightly larger on the ZO6 and there fore the lower stud nut will not fit, keep in mind that there have been 0 failures of the standard Corvette hubs. in theroy the ZO6 brakes will bolt rigth on but we have not tried it.

I think Blake meant to say ZR1 on both items, and everything he said is correct.

Blake,

Per our discussion, I think your approach will work. PM me. I am willing to pay you for a set of bearings and the R&D, if you think there is a high probability of success. I can send you my spindles to make the lower stud modification if you need. Or, I can do the work here and let you know how it comes out.
