Default Okay, since I'm relocating... who's near NW Ohio?

Since I'm retiring and moving to the NW corner of Ohio... I was wondering who is near there?

I already have thoughts of going up to meet and check out the Ring Bros digs and plan a trip to Manteno to Rad Rides... what other shops are in that area of the country?

I'm looking forward to that midwest friendliness and charm of a small town again!

The Williams County Courthouse, located on the town square was originally built in 1888 and is decorated every year with Christmas lights!

Bryan Ohio was ranked 30th in Norman Crampton’s book The 100 Best Small Towns in America.

So, who on here is near there? I'll be living right outside of Bryan. Basically half way between Fort Wayne IN and Toledo OH.

V/R,
Ty

I live in Powell. A little East of Marysville and N.W. of Columbus. It would be a long drive!

I live in Defiance. I am in Bryan 2 or 3 times a week, I sell Pepsi to all of the small gas stations and drive-thru's. If you ever need any paint work done I highly recommend Rex Hasch. He is localed right in front of Dollar General. Anything else car related you should look up Phil Goller on the corner of Christy Rd and Kammyer Rd. He is located north of Defiance one mile west of St. Rt. 66. He can fix and repair just about anything. I don't have a car right now but it would be great to meet up with you sometime.

I grew up in Port Clinton, near Put-in Bay and Cedar Point in Sandusky.

Are you from that area? Why Bryan?

There's cool cars everywhere in that part of the country (I miss it) so you shouldn't have a hard time finding someone to cruise with...

You bet! I'll be on 6 between Co Rd's 19 & 20! I'll be home the weekend of the 15th of Jan or shortly thereafter but I'm not planning on bringing my car up there until the spring... that'll give me time to make some room for it! LOL

I'd love to meet up and go meet these guys! I don't have any work that needs done on my car but would like to start networking right away!

Spent every summer at Cedar Point growing up! Road the Demon Drop 6 times the day it opened!

Why Bryan? It's where I grew up and where my Mom is... my Dad passed unexpectedly last month, so I'm retiring from the Air Force quickly to get home to take care of her and the property.
The old barn is falling down and the out buildings are in disrepair... there's plenty to keep me busy cleaning things up and getting stuff cleaned out! Think "American Pickers"! LOL

Just to give you an idea...

Barn ... just gotta finish what mother nature and gravity have started and get it cleaned up.

Old Grainery (1920) This one will come down... floors/foundation are gone etc.

Old Chicken Coop (1959) ... will try to save this one... it's kinda the landmark of the property.

Implement Shed (1920) ... hoping I can save this one to use as my shop eventually... (30x45)

That Dodge PowerWagon is the vehicle I learned to drive in and what took my test in to get my license in 1983!

Pretty sure it'll buff right out! LOL

Like I said, plenty to keep me busy until I find a job...

Not usually in the NW corner... Cleveland and the NE corner (Youngstown)get nailed regularly with lake effect snow... but the NW corner only gets nailed when there's a "Nor-easter" and the wind blows backwards to the west...
