Default Newbie from Colorado

Hey everyone. Looking forward to getting a lot of tips and tricks as well as advice and guidance for everyone on the board.

I moved from NYC to Denver, CO in Dec of 09. My only demand to my wife when looking for a house was that it have a 3rd bay for a project. My demand was answered, and in April of 10, I found a 1969 Chevy Nova on CL for $1500. The body was is pretty decent shape as the previous owner had already started some bodywork.

I've never done this before, so I'm learning before I do something, and then as I'm doing it. It's going to be a helluva project that I'm looking forward to.

Going to try and do this on a budget (who doesn't), so we'll see how it goes.

My plans thus far are:

LS1/T56 - from donor car
Wiring Harness - from donor car
Seats (possibly center console) - from donor car
98+ F body brakes
8.5" 10 bolt rear (I have a 8.2 10 bolt)
QA1 front coilovers/drop leafs in the back
17x9.5, 17x11 corvette replica wheels
New ES bushings everywhere

Hopefully going to get the suspension and brakes done soon and then the body work will start.

Cheers,
Andrew
