Default Experts, is this drivebale?

Sorry for the inconvenience but it's a link:

http://www.camaros.net/showroom/show...php?photo=1051

They are 19" up front and slammed.

Do you think the stance is for the photo or does the actually drive, as in lock to lock with no rubbing on the outer fender?

As you know, I want to run a 305/30/19 rear and can't find a front 18" tire to match.

I might do 19 front 19 rear after all.

My guess is a definite tire rub up front, lock to lock. Personally, it would look better higher in the front.

I'm going to guess it rubs as well. Although, the first picture is a bit deceptive in making the wheel look like it sits a bit more flush than it actually is. If you modified the inner fenders you could probably make it work. Of course, a lot of it all depends on how wide of a front tire you want to run.

Can't imagine it not rubbing if you turn the wheel at all. Course, I also just plain don't like it. JMHO. Ridiculously large wheels ruining what looks like maybe a nice car for me. If I look close, I can see the LNB in those wheels for them to pick up sat signals

Paging Doug Renner, Doug Renner, you out there?

Jokes aside, yeah, I'd bet that rubs, but it looks bad ass.

On Doug's 69, he's running a 19x8, 5.5" BS, and a 225 wide tire and he clears...barely.

The rear looks perfectly proportional to the car and it does look bad ass.

FYI it's Danica Patrick's Camaro

So the 19/18 is out of the question since nothing will match the 305/30 rear.

Now it's a question of 18/18 or 19/19.

Both look good in my opinion but I don't want a 335/18 and seems like not many companies make 315/35/18's or is this not true?

Just found Toyo and that's it ( street trires NOT drag radials )

Just curious, but why do you want to run a 305/30/19 so badly? To fit that size tire you're going to have to mini-tub the car, and if you do that, why not run Nitto's NT05 in 335/30/19, they make 18" tires in widths from 225-285.

Ahhh that's a good question. The car is already tubbed and this is one of those weird cases where I'm going to chose aesthetics over function (traction). To me, a 335 looks too wide and disproportional to the car. I also love the Camaros with 19's in the rear and 18's in the front. I MAY decide to run a 325/30/19 for now, it's looking like a 305 or 315 on 18's in the rear.

Probably goes without saying, but in your opinion, right? Of course, your car and your opinion is what matters. I just think it's way out of proportion to the car and just looks bad. That's why we have so many different builds. Everyone has different tastes which is more than cool.

It probably runs then, it just won't be fast or finish races.
