Default Which spindle?

What spindles are you guy's using with your setup's.

I have the Speedtech high clearance upper and lower control arm's and plan on getting there subframe. Are most of you using the AFX spindles? The car has drum brakes on it now. Since the Speedtech sub has the g-mod built in does that mean I go with a stock hight spindle and not the tall? Looking to be somewhat cost effective.

Thank's
John

If you want AFX spindles be prepared to wait for them.

Since you plan on getting the Speed Tech subframe, you can run stock spindles and still get the g-mod. I believe you set the upper arms all the way down. If you want tall spindles, the AFX are awesome, but aren't cheap. You can also get the L&H spindles which are still tall spindles, but use the stock brake set up where as the AFX ones use C5 or C6 brakes, I can't remember which ones. But cost effective....yes you can use stock spindles.

if you use their sub frame and want the AFX spindles then you want the tall ones. both will work on that frame though.

The tall ATS spindle is the best period. And as AJ mentioned, the tall spindles will give you a great camber gain.

We have been shipping the spindles with in a couple weeks, actually we have some in stock right now and more on the way. we always get big runs on them and that messes with all the reorder points and machining times.

In actual fact the Tall Spindle gives more gain than the guildstrand mod does.

On a 69 Camaro, can you run the high clearance uppers and lowers with afx tall spindles on a stock sub with the Chicane kit.

If you are talking about our subframe? then you would "Normally" NOT use the G mod location when using the Tall Spindle. you wouls use the G Mod location with the stock spindle ort thr short AFX spindle.
this also goes for the Stock Subframe.

On the stock subframe you CAN use the Hiclearance Upper Control arm with the TALL Spindle and the Chicane Coilover conversion, Actually that is the EXACT set up the OneLap Camaro uses. so that should tell you how well it works.
The Hiclearance LOWER control arms are ONLY for the Speedtech Subframe.
