Default First Gen Firebird Suspension

My current suspension is far from great, stock springs, koni reds, and a 1 1/8" front Sway Bar.

I'm currently looking to upgrade my suspension to something that is track day friendly (MIR just re-opened and first event is in May!)

Because my track toy is down (LS1 powered e36 M3) I am going to dust off the old Firebird.

The car is Pontiac Powered with a Doug Nash 5 Speed and an 8.5 3.08 Posi rear with slide-a-links (the solid bushing was replaced with poly). Brakes will are currently being upgraded to C5 13" front and LS1 Rear. Steering has been upgraded with an 3rd gen Iroc Box as well. The Current wheel and tire package is laughable, 255/45/17 rear and 225/40/17 front. This will be addressed with a bit more rubber in the front.

My current suspension list is as follows:

Front:
*Afco Spring Adjusters
*Afco 5.5"x9.5" Springs 750#
*SC&C Control Arms Greasable Race Bushings
*Tall upper and Lower Ball Joints - Suggestions? These - http://www.pozziracing.com/power_per...e_motorspo.htm possibly? Are lowers REALLY something to even think about with adjustable springs? It seems that all it does for your geometry is throw out the bump steer more and lower the ride height. Please Correct me if I am wrong!
*Bump Steer Correction - Bear Tracker
*Helwig 1 1/8" Sway Bar

Rear:
*Landrum Leaf Springs 225# 5" Arch, that will give me about 1.5" of arch with the car's weight on the springs according to this great post by David Pozzi.
*I'll keep the factory type rubber front bushing for some give. I like the idea of johny Joints, but I want to try the rubber first.
*Shackles? Which is the best way to go here? Poly? Johny Joint? I would like some throttle over steer, but not un-controllable.
*Rear Sway Bar - Helwig Adjustable is what I am thinking.

Shocks, I have considered everything from the cheap Afco Dirt Track non adjustable, Koni Yellow Adjustables, Bilstine HD, and Varishocks. Not sure what I should REALLY go for. I would like the ability to tune for an Auto X vs. Track Days.

I would like to think that this is a very good start to a well mannered track car and street car. I gathered a good bit of info from the following threads to help get me to this point.
