Will a newer 4L60 or 4L65 4X4 trans fit my 99 Tahoe

Hi I have a 99 Tahoe with a 4L60 in it will a newer LS style trans fit in to replace the older version? Its a 4X4 with a 5.7 Vortec one piece rear seal motor, and will it match to my transfer case or can I use both Trans and case from a newer 4X4 truck?
