Default Belated photos of '66 GTO Project

Most of you have already seen probably more than you want of my project, however a site member kind of pointed out that I've not posted much background of the car on this site. It is WELL documented over on PT. Anyway, I'll just post some random kind of pics here so those who are blissfully unaware of it can take a look.

Otherwise, see you guys at RTTH.

As delivered, end of May 2008

Pulling the body after media blasting and epoxy primer

Initial build of the suspension. Many components have since been changed.

Engine build in process

Paint in progress - bottom of car still on rotisserie

Just an in progress under the car

Initial dash build - not complete at the time of the pic

Interior work in progress

First indoor car show (ISCA)

GoodGuys Columbus

Motor State Autocross

Gingerman Road Course

Oil cooler installed:

Wilwood 14" and Varishocks installed

Just a handful. Don't mean to bore anyone!

I know Bill will appreciate all the kind comments. He is a friend and I can tell you he has had other things going on. At the end of last year he got a new job and has been devoting a huge amount of time to it. If you can't tell by his car when he does something he does it right. I talked to him recently and I think he will be getting back in the garage soon and hopefully back on here. It's crazy how life can interrupt our fun!

Bill's a great guy, if memory serves me correct, its a 4 stage custom paint job. He drives the every living sh*t out of it, and it does everything well!!
