Default Aftermarket Camaro cowl hood

I bought a new hood from Classic industries and for some reason it seems like it may be too narrow. The gaps pretty large on each side. Can someone measure there hood and let me know the width I guess from across the front and across the rear. Width measurements. Maybe measure from fender to fender as well.
68 Camaro
Thanks

Hi Jay,

Its a known fact the repo cowl hoods are about an 1/8" more narrow than original GM. I have an orginal GM SS hood and 2 repo cowl hoods and both were more narrow than original. I can get you exact measurements if you need them.

Well that sucks. I was thinking about using some flat steel to make up the difference what do you think? Can you get me the measurements on your original so i can compare? Thanks for the help and info.
