Default more info

I would like to know more about this. Please let me know when you receive these and how they fit under the rear seats. Is there enough clearance to be able to sit in the rear seat without the seat springs hitting the unit?

Have you listened to them? How do they sound?

Thanks for sharing a great idea.

Payton

Default Bumpin'

My original plan was a pair of 4 inch JL Audio's in stock location, 6 inchers in lower kickpanel(where the Mule has its speaker) 6x9 in the rear deck for fill and I have 2 10inch Memphis subs for the trunk.

I don't really want to load the car down with a big box in the trunk so your idea sounds pretty good. Thought about running a single 10 free air in rear package tray too.

Why did you go with 2? Sound level?

better crisper bass sounds
they fit under the seats and using 2 subs wont overpower just using 1.

Have your subs arrived yet? If so could you lay them where you are going to mount them and snap me a picture?

Default subs

payton king...i also have 2 memphis 10's in my 69 and love them...they do not need a big box to hit...but i built a custom box in my trunk and have the memphis 500 one them and they hit hard but i am 19 so i like it. but you can turn the amp down and also the deck to take away the hard bass. they also are way cheaper than all the otehr name brands and have a lifetime warranty...if they blow save the recipt and bring them back to where you bought them for a new one...i love them and would run anythign else

Default Memphis

Yea, I have 2 memphis 10's sitting in my office right now. I had planned on making a box and firing them through the rear seat or mounting one on each side. I cannot really decide what I want to do with my trunk yet and looking for some alternate ideas. Another problem that I think that I am going to have is exhaust noise, so a good sound system may be useless in my car unless the motor is off.

Post me up some pics of your box
