Default Offset on a 68 Camaro

Just bought some wheels to get my Camaro back on the road and realized too late that they have a +19mm offset....is this bad?

They are 17X8 with 5.25 BS also.

They will work. Fronts may rub the chassis when you turn hard if the stock brakes, suspension are on still.

Offset and backspacing measure the same thing, just in from a different reference point. Offset is the distance from the mounting pad to the centerline of the wheel whereas backspacing is the measurement from the pad to the inner lip of the wheel.

You can always space a wheel out, not in.

Thanks.
I'm running Global West tubulars and SSBC brakes up front. Moser 12-bolt with SSBC's in the rear.

Tires arrived today....went with Kuhmo Ecsta SPT tires.

RSM? Not many 1st gens in RSM. Especially 1st gens with big blocks. Are you down off Melinda? I think we may have meet before. None the less, if you get any tire rub, let me know. I can get you some spacers to push the wheels out a tad, and I am in you area all the time.
