trunk, floor, and rails

on my 68 camaro the one piece floor pan is welded in place and i have the measurements for the rear frame rails from off line. What i was wondering is if anyone can help on the fit from the floor pan to the trunk pan measurements, and if its better to mock it all up then take it out and weld the trunk pan to frame rails out of the car or in thanks for your help
