Default Billet dash knob and vent choices

I am looking for some billet dash knobs for my 68 camaro preferably in BLACK or I can always anodize. Also, is there any other choice besides chrome for the side air vents?

I know DSE has a headlight one but can't find any other choices after searching.

Thanks

John - DSE make a matching wiper switch as well. Ridetech also has neat little knobs too; from memory I think they're ball milled on the face. For your year check the V. Air catalogue. I think they make a natural or brushed vent. Also search Mike (Sherp69?) as he did a vent search not too long ago...

Cool thanks I like the Ridetech ones. They are black. Now I just need to get my steering wheel anodized black and were good to go.

John, I ended up getting ones from Billet Specialties. Not sure I'm completely sold on them though. They are chrome and I think they will stand out way too much. I'm still looking for some that will look better.

Vintage air has some nice ones. If you look in their catalog under the proline louvers, they have some there that are already anodized. The only thing I really didn't like about the VA ones is they don't look like they can be moved in different directions.

Ridetech also makes matching door lock knobs.

Sorry to drag up an old thread....

I'm about to make a decision on what wiper motor to buy for my 68. Currently looking at both the Newport and DSE options.

Newport:

The DSE wiper, seems that you have to run their wiper switch, and whilst it comes with a billet knob, i think it'll look odd with the other original knobs. Is there anywhere that makes matching billet knobs for the others?

The Newport wiper can reuse the original knob and bezel with their switch shaft extension option, this makes it more appealing to me. Although I like the DSE wiper motor more.

I've looked high and low for something to work with the DSE set up and even asked them if they plan on making a matching set of dash knobs any time soon (nope) so I recently went ahead and made my own based off off their stuff. The only thing left I have to finish up is the ignition, I'm debating on using a push button set up.

If you want to go this route I'd be more than happy to give ya some input, the fun part is finding the unique tap sizes required for the bezels lol
