Default 69 Camaro- New and Old

I joined this site about 6 months ago but until lately has any real progress been accomplished. I purchased this camaro from Jon(firstgencam) who built "My 401k" and "In The Red." He took this camaro in on a trade and wanted a chevelle so we did a little trading. Being active duty military it is often difficult to know who to trust because I only live in an area for 3 years at most. I say this because the people like Jon, Travis(daytonayellaz), Joe (BullDawg Musclecars) that I have met on this site have been nothing but great. The car had a 350, blower and 2 speed powerglide. I drooled over everyone with LS setups so i wanted one of my own. I know the interior is a little old school but i like having the mix of old and new. This project will be a work in progress as funds allow. Now on to the pics.

This is how the camaro was when i purchased it. It is a perfectly good camaro however I wanted to change it up a little.
Enjoy

All of the work is being completed at BullDawg MuscleCars in Acworth,GA.

Motor being pulled. The motor is actully going in another customer's corvette at the shop.

I bought this LS2/4L70 setup from Travis (Daytonayellaz). He also provided the custom wiring harness and computer tune.

Here is motor bolted in place. We will be relocating the coilpacks and placing camaro gmpp valve covers to clean the compartment up a little. We are using BRP motor mounts and hedman headers.

Next we are adding 3.73 gears and hopefully new wheels and tires. (If funds are available.)
This is the setup I am looking at/going for. Hopefully 20/19 setup

The car looks great and now you'll have a sweet powertrain. It should be a nice car to drive and have fun in.

Old school my butt!! That interior is sweet. I wouldn't change a thing. Now the wheel change is a good idea. Even though nothing is wrong with the wheels on there now, but the photoshop set of wheels are much sweeter.

I agree with you guys. I am doing NOTHING to the interior except changing the gauges to a set of Marshall 60s muscle style. The current gauges were a mix and I do not need a boost gauge(maybe in the future ). Some people on another site said the interior pulled the car back a couple years but I love it. I am wanting to put the widest wheel and tire on the back of the car. I have contemplated mini-tubbing the car but Im afraid of ruining the custom interior and trunk. Narrowing the rearend has also crossed my mind but that will only allow a deeper dish. Correct?
