Default Vanishing Point.... who's seen it?

Just watched it. Cool movie and car chase scenes. Even for a Mopar.

First or remake? I saw the orig when it first came out at a drive in. I have it on DVD.. Did you know that in the orig movie, they crashed a Camaro into the tractors and not a Mopar..

I also saw the remake but cannot remember it (senile)

The orig Gone in 60 seconds is cool too

Didn't know there was more than one version... I saw the one from the 1971 with Barry Newman.

The remake had Vigo Mortesen as the driver. I thought it was pretty good since it was made for TV. The original was better.

Donīt forget Barry Newman driving a 1972 Ford Torino GTS in "Fear Is the Key", from 1973.
Great car chase!

Seen the original back in the day with Barry Newman and Clevon Little as the DJ. One of the coolest movies ever! I believe Kris Kristophossen( I hope I spelled that right),Rita Coolidge,Delaney&Bonnieand others performed the music in the dessert scene. Kowalski(stage name)drove a Hemi Challenger across country at high speed and eluded all law enforcement.
