Default Super Charger intake help.

I was wondering if anyone here has done any solid testing on intakes for D1sc super charger?

My question is, how much of a bend can I use on the intake before I start loosing power? I know the straighter the better but. I was originally going to run the tube to the back of the engine but with the headers I built this is not going to happen, unless I run the tube right above the driver side header. NOPE. haha..

And running a filter right off the blower will not work me either. I can do this but, to me this looks way to unfinished and lazy, lol....

I've got a P1-SC on my 1970 Chevelle. Hanging the filter right off the back is a no go. Too much hot air. It doesn't look like you have a lot of room there either. What I did is remove my wiper motor (I don't drive too much in the rain) and run sections of 4" tubing, from Spectre, to the hole in the cowl and mounted my air filter in there. It's (almost) a straight shot and the different bends available help with the configuration. I've got mine clamped together or you can weld it.

I'm up to 704 RWHP with this truck inlet hat, only gained 20 foot pounds of torque by removing it. Basically a 90 degree going to a filter

Thank you very much. Yours is running much tighter then I wanted to run mine, and if your results were that, I know what I going to do know.
