Default Info on this amazing 55 Chevy?

Hi all,

So, I have started back up on my long 55 chevy conversion from a Kustom to a pro tourer and was searching the interweb the other day and came across this radical 55 Chevy over at grassroots.

These 2 pictures are the only ones I can find and info is limited:

Said to be modified steel 55 shell on an old winston cup chassis (something about the original chassis being in days of thunder movie with a diff body...)

Does anyone have any info or pix on this car?!?!

A build thread would be awesome!

Thanks for any help!

BTW..last pic is how my 55 sits today...

That's freaking wicked looking. I'd love to see that thing going around a NASCAR track.

Both cars are cool. I grew up in Hueytown, AL where the Bobby and Davey Allison and Neil Bonnett (old school Nascar guys) had their racing garages. There were all sorts of vintage race cars that they had raced over the years and there were quite a few shoeboxes. None of them sat like that one though.
Your shoebox is cool too, is that its static stance? That is the lowest 55 I have seen.
