Default Different T56 Clutch Line Quick Disconnects?

I'm installing a Viper T56 behind an LS3 in a '68 Camaro. I've got an LS1 hydraulic hose with the quick disconnect that mates perfectly with an LS1 slave cylinder. Because the Viper slave cylinder mounting holes are clocked differently than the LS1 T56, I'm using a Viper slave cylinder.

I can't get the LS1 quick disconnect to latch into the Viper slave cylinder quick disconnect. I can feel the mating surface in the connector on the slave give as I push the hose fitting in, but it just won't latch.

So, my question: Are there different configurations of quick disconnects between the Viper and the GM T56s, or am I just not pushing hard enough? (I'm pushing pretty darn hard, using a screw driver to lever the fitting into the slave - still no go.)

Again, thanks for the link.

Good luck Mike. Seems like somebody could make up a custom line with the correct quick connects on it.

Mike call Lee @ Mcleod next week (he's out of the office). They make custom lines and told me they stock diff quick disconnect connectors.

Thanks, I'll try that. I called McLeod for a line (not Lee), told them what I was doing, they said "no problem," but what they sent me was another LS1 QD.
