Question Will power brake lines work with manual master/no booster?

Guys,

I'm planning on switching from a hydroboost on my 68 Camaro to a manual master cylinder.

Does anyone have any experience as to whether the hard brake lines will be able to be bent toward the firewall enough to allow the use of a manual master cylinder w/o hydroboost (power booster)?

Thanks so much for any help,

Donnie

You should be able to reroute them as you like, but how far you can move them will depend on how they're routed and fabricated now, so without a picture, you're not going to get any definitive answers. Either way, the worst case scenario is that you get to make a couple of new, relatively short hardlines...easy-peasy. You could even buy generic preflared straight hardlines (8" to 72" lengths) to start with and just bend to fit.
