Default Gearhead Performance / Leonard Borman !!!

I'm calling every petrol head and hot rodder out to help me with this possible scam / theft that is probably happening to me.

a little bit about my self, I'm building a 1970 pro-touring Camaro wich has been a long dream for me to come thru and I live in Norway.

I got in contact with a company after doing a 3-4 weeks research, this company GEARHEAD PERFORMANCE / SPEEDSHOP Clearwater Florida 33764 which I finally decided to deal with was
recommended thru a friends friend here in Norway. I was told he was the right guy to help me out with my shopping list. I got in contact with Leonard Borman and we
work our way thru the list of parts and agreed on the prices. This is the list of parts:

Richmond 3.70 gear $220.00
Gemini tube connectors $180.00
Spectre air intake 900108 $195.00
Super charger hose assy 6.2 LITER W/SUPERCHARGER $115.00
GM LSA engine $11,150.00
Camaro double pass heat exchanger with fans $810.00
Kooks headers item nr. 6450-S-0711 $900.00
Spintech side exhaust mufflers item nr. SX31030 $550.00
Spectre coupler 4 $30.00
T56/Magnum REVERSE LOCKOUT SOLENOID RELEASE HARNESS $30.00
ELUN-10008 Reverse light harness LS T56 $27.00
LSA engine controller kit $1329.00
LSA engine fead (no ac) $950.00
LSA intercooler pump $260.00
Centerforce Dyad drive system CTS-V clutch $1550.00
Powermaster mini high torque 200 foot/pound $235.00
Detroit speed 1000 series tank $2599.99
T-56 remote clutch bearing bleeder $29.99
T-56 slave cylinder Ram p/n 520 $150.00
T-56 slave cylinder clutch line $50.00
ZL-1 engine cover plastic LSA $70.00
Supercharger ZL-1 cover $270.00
Ringbothers billet door hinges 20701-7501B $600.00
Fesler billet Door striker sb-716 $35.00
Door Jam Vents $89.00
These are almost every part I needed to complete my build.

Its now 19 days since he replied on my email and he doesn't answer the telephones anymore and doesn't reply on Facebook where he is listed as my "friend" :-(
I have transferred $ 22725 to Leonard Borman account for these parts and I'm very worried about my investment, the last of the money was received and Leonard has replied by email that he has received them.
This is money I have saved for a long period to get this done.
I have already many nights now without any sleep just because and this case and it's tearing me apart.
I'M talking to a lot of people right now to get advice and this takes a lot of my already spear time that is already little.
It's now time to seek help to all of you fellow gearheads out there to help me out, nobody want to experience this and it's especially difficult when I live on the other side of the world.
I need every one of you who knows Leonard Borman, Ed Borman or Carol Borman or anyone at GEARHEAD PERFORMANCE / SPEEDSHOP to encourage them and get this case solved before the police or the attorney's get this case.

I have gone out with this information on 11 forums so please be patient with me if I dont answer everybody right away.

PLEASE GUYS HELP ME OUT WITH THIS !!!!!!

http://gearheadperformance.com/

I will delete these posts when GEARHEAD PERFORMANCE / SPEEDSHOP make things right, every conversations beetween us will be posted and hopefully they have a good reason for this nonsens.

PS: If anyone think's that they can help me out I will send them every information needed from email, fb messages and the phone calls I have done to them ( I record automatic every call)

Hopefully there's a reason for no replies and it's not a scam. I understand what it feels like to have so much money out in another country and no communication.

I just sent them an email and told them they'd better take care of their customer in Norway before they had zero reputation left!

A lot of good that will do.... but it was more just to let them know that people are "listening".

Best of luck!!

After reading the YellowBullet thread ----- I'd suggest you hire a lawyer immediately. Get one in the companies town....

Gearheads is on the hook for any fees and costs you incur collecting. You'll have to pay it up front but then can get a judgement to collect your out of pocket costs. Since he's still in business -- the sheriff can collect on the judgement.

It's also INTERNATIONAL FRAUD -- and GRAND LARCENY -- that's criminal action there so I'd contact the Florida Attorney Generals office. Since it's international -- and it also may be WIRE FRAUD depending on how you paid so I'd also contact the FBI.

In the United States, mail and wire fraud is any fraudulent scheme to intentionally deprive another of property or honest services via mail or wire communication. It has been a federal crime in the United States since 1872.

Call the LOCAL police. Your local police force might have a technology crimes or identity theft unit, and wire transfer fraud could fall under their jurisdiction. Otherwise, look up the number for your local police department and call the front desk.

I cut and pasted this link to the CLEARWATER FLORIDA POLICE DEPARTMENT.

http://www.clearwaterpolice.org

Speak to the Internet Crime Complaint Center. The ICCC, a joint operation between the FBI, National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C) and the Bureau of Justice Assistance, is an organization dedicated to fighting and wiping out cyber-crime, such as wire transfer fraud.

Here's a link I cut and pasted for you - to file a complaint on line. This IS a joint operation with the FBI.... that ought to get this assholes attention!
