Default IAT sensor location

Hello, would like to know where the best place to install the IAT . Using Holley HP

Where is the optimal place to install the IAT sensor? The two places I'm thinking of installing is..Into the back side of the elbow plenum.OrIn the up pipe between the filter and the throttle bodyThanks for your input

As a generality you want the IAT to be as close to the throttle body as possible for the most accurate reading of the intake air temp going into the engine. Typically you would place it in front of the throttle body... I've never put one behind a throttle body so I don't know how well that is going to work or not work...
