Default Spring pocket relocation on 2nd gen f-body

I need to relocate the springs on my 2nd Gen F-body after installing a set of DSE tubs. Apparently, the front spring pocket relocation pieces and the shock tower relocation piece that they show in their mini tub installation video don't come with the tubs. You have to spend another $1500 and get a new set of springs, shocks, etc. to get those important items. They won't sell the pocket relocation pieces separately. Since I already have a new set of springs and shocks that I bought from another pro-touring F-body when I bought the front upper and lower control arms, I don't need all the extras in the DSE kit.

Do any of you have photos of your own alternative setups available?

From my experience there is no alternative that you can purchase. If you have a fabricator or weld yourself, you can have them made.

Hi Doug,

I was in the exact same boat as you are 2 years ago and made the switch to Ride-Tech Stuff with a modified stock bracket

DSE does not sell the part separately so you need to make your own if you plan to run leaf springs.

Man that is frustrating. If I'd known that from the beginning it would have been one thing but the tech support guy's tells me. "yeah that stuff is in the video, I'd just suggest you buy a quadra-link." What a bunch of BS.

It's frustrating but I understand where they are coming from. DSE spent a lot of money creating parts and it's the only way they can protect themselves. I wonder if you contact DSE and ask them to sell you 1/2 the kit since you already bought the tubs from them.

Here is what we did on my car. We only need 3/4" to clear the 335's with the Ride-Tech off-set Lower bars
