Default Quarter Panel - Advice NEEDED!

Here is an issue that I really am not sure the best way to fix?

It seems the lower body line on the my new quarters has been improperly stamped. I have a CHL quarter that does not have this issue and matched the doors perfectly, but had enough other issues that I didn't use it.

Notice how it does not follow the contour of the doors body line.
- It is to wide
- different angle

Here in this close up you can see how it is at a totally different angle than the door...

Here is a shot of the inside of the jamb:

The Drivers side is not as bad, but still has the same issue:

Has anyone seen this?

What would be the best way to remedy it?

- Welding?
- body solder?
- body filler?

Advice welcome!

Well let me first say I know what you're going through, I am working on a 67 firebird right now and it's fighting me every step of the way. It sucks! Anyway I'm sure someone else will chime in with more experience me but my first instinct would be to cut the lower half off your quarter (between the side gills and body line) and cut that section off your CHL quarter (if you still have it) and graft it in. I think it would be very tedious to try to recreate the body line any other way but that's just my opinion. Good luck with it!

I feel for you I cut a new CHL quarter off and threw it away,it fit really poorly where you are having your problem plus it was about a 1/2" too long in front of rear wheel but fit door and a few other places real well, also real bad around wheelwell, cut that area out and reshape it is probably the best option there where mine was I a bad spot to repair, good luck just please have patience because with these cars you sure need it
