Default Anyone have any rack and pinion specs.

I am looking for a factory rack to put into a custom tube chassis.
One with the inner tie rod pivot points around 20-22 inches apart.
I can swap outer ends around to get my over all length.
It would also need to be front steer and from a rig that weighs in the area of 3200-3500#.
Does anyone have a catalog with specs. in the back?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

You would be better off to just pick a rack then design your suspension and chassis around it. The inner tie rod pivots relationship to the upper and lower control arm pivot points is very important for controlling bump steer.
Look here for a good explanation...

I cannot stress anymore the importance of matching these points to build a good handling suspension. For my Bad Ast Project I started with a Corvette rack and redesigned all of the suspension points to work WITH that rack... Do your design this way and you will have no issues with bump steer.

I know that, the chassis is about 85% complete and I didn't figure it would be that hard to find a factory rack with those dimensions.
If I have to I will get a BRT,Sweet or something of the sorts, just can't see spending that kind of cash at this moment.
