Nitro -
It's one of those gray areas. By low profile, do you mean something like Michelin Pilot Sports, Kuhmo/Nitto Road Race slicks or Hoosier Quick Time Drag tires? The difference between the three is huge. Also radial-only not bias -ply correct ? Not being a pain, just seein' what you were looking for.

Maybe tires that could be considered both street legal and rain-worthy?

I mean any low profile tires 17" or larger I guess. I have run 315/35/ 17" BFG Drag Radials and Pirelli PZERO Road race slicks back to back, and had the same 60' time. I have never tried a regular tire that is not a track tire. That wold be asking for BIG trouble!!

Cadillac Attack (82 Fleetwood) went 11.80 @ 118 on 17" Yoko AVS Street tires.
Y Gen 3rd Gen went 12.43 @112 on 18" Goodyear street tires, without it's 225 shot 1st time out.
