Default C6 Brake Caliper differnces

Good afternoon folks, I have been buying pieces here and there for a 69 camaro, and would like to make it a rough roller by summer.

I have a Scott Mock front subframe with C6 Components, Thank you Scott and . I need to still get a rack and pinion and brakes to complete the package. Then it is committing to the mini tub and rear end setup.

I have come across a set of stock ZO6 brakes locally really cheap to get the job done for a roller. However, I think there are some clearance differenes between calipes on the C6,ZO6, and Z56? package breakes.

For Wheels I have 18x10 front with 6.25" BS and 18x12 with 5.4" BS the front hat on the wheels have been shaved to clearance 13" wilwood brakes.

Am I safe to say I will have clearance room with the Stock ZO6 brake package and I am planing on a 9 inch narrowed rear, what do I need to make the rears work.

Thank for any comments or suggestions

C6z brakes are totally different from z51. Z51 are basically older c5z brakes. The c6z rotor is larger and the calipers dwarf c51 calipers

Rear - 305x26mm rotor, 1-piston floating caliper

2005-2013 C6 Z51 Performance Package (J55):
Front -340x32mm rotor, 2-piston floating caliper (~25% more rigid than C5 calipers)
Rear - 330x26mm rotor, 1-piston floating caliper

2006-2013 C6 Z06 (J56):
Front - 355x32mm rotor, 6-piston monobloc caliper
Rear - 340x26mm rotor, 4-piston monobloc caliper

Wheel clearance is a function of diameter and axial clearance between the face of the caliper and back of the spoke, or mounting pad thickness. You can download the fitment templates from our Tech page rather than assume anything with respect to brake fitment since it sounds like you already have your wheels.
