Default Serpentine belt misaligned-options?

I have a 5.3l vortec engine with Holley LS accessory brackets in my 67 Firebird. I went over the engine compartment the other day (after 2k miles since the swap), and notice the serpentine belt does not fully ride on the balancer (see picture). I tried reposition the belt, and the belt jumped out one rib after starting the engine.Looks like the Holley brackets stick out 1/8" too far.

To fix this, I'm thinking either:

A-Remove the Holley spacers (the brackets come with spacers to move the belt out to line up with the truck balancer), and remove 1/8" with a belt sander,

Or,
B-Pull the balancer out 1/8" and install ARP crank bolt. As far as I can tell, the balancer has never been removed.

Advice/thought on this?
