Default FWD setup relocated to the rear of a car...

I understand that this is not a normal setup for most cars on this forum but I need a bit of help finding a qualified shop that can help get this project off the ground. I live in NC, and would like a semi local shop, but if the talent required for such a setup is out of state or across the country I will consider shipping the car to an qualified shop if needed. I seem to be surrounded by talent if I was building a stock car, but I'm not sure about the mess below..

The Car..

I have a 1991 Ford Shogun, it is the only unfinished example of the 7 or 8 cars that are known to exist. I have everything for the project to complete it in stock form, but the car is not an original Beck or Titus creation because its just a huge box of parts that they never assembled.... I think I'm in the right place for selling the recreation of the car into a more modern setup, most people I talk to tell me to put the SHO in the back and move on to one of my other projects, my gut says build it the way I want.... So here we go...

In its simplest form, I want the rear of a Noble M-400 in the back of my Shogun...

The original cars used the factory 1991 SHO subframe and a bunch of scrap to meld it to the rear of the poor little hatchback, it in no way is a glamorous setup, as I have seen an original as well. It worked amazingly well for what it was, but its nothing you want to show off at a car show with the engine cover off. I'm looking for shop that can build a custom rear suspension and subframe that is designed around a Duratec 3.0 & MTX-75. The weight savings from the engine swap should be close to 200lbs or more not counting the loss in weight from removing the factory subframe. I wouldn't mind also doing something with the front suspension if gains can be made in balance exc. The original cars used SHO spindles and strut inserts to the factory lower arms, the setup worked, but some of it is hard to replicate well. I think the original spindles were milled out for a larger strut insert to try to change the inclination angle? Apparently aiding in the steering wheel self centering in a RWD application vs. the FWD config of the factory car. Some have told me to just put caster camber plates on it, other say that milling out the spindle is the best bet... I'm beginning to think cutting it all out with a plasma might be easier ; ) I think trying to recreate something some times is harder then starting with a fresh slate. So opinion are welcome.

Never the less I'm way over my head with setting this thing up my self the way I want it, but have a vision of what it needs to be and it looks similar to the GTI below... Keep in mind it will be a street car, so the front "wire" frame may be a bit to much along with the extra door bars, but the rest is close.

Anyone on here know anyone that may have an interest in making something special out of my Econo box of parts?

This is the factory Shogun subframe for the rear..

Thanks for the help.

Brian
