Default Power steering flow control valve install question

Hi guys

I received the Billet Specialities 2 GPM flow control valve , and yesterday spent a couples of hours trying to install the fitting. I started to untighten the high pressure Power steering line fitting and noticed it was a male flaring fitting that is connected to the GM control valve, which is different than the Billet Specialities that has the threaded male connection.

Does this mean that I need to change the male flaring fitting on the presssure line or the BS valve I ordered was not the right valve for the application since it has a different arrangement than the existing one I have?

I am totally confused and appreciate your input guys.
