Any luck with CPP stuff?

Specifically this kit;

I am thinking of purchasing but have heard some not so good things about some of CPPs stuff ( I.e. Chinese parts, bushings, ball joints. Even broken welds and control arms) if anyone has used these on daily drivers and occasionally auto cross cars let me know. I don't want to get stuck with cheap parts. Thanks!

We have that kit minus the afx spindles on a 69 firebird that's basically a daily driver and have had no issues. The arms seemed to be decent quality and the brakes "work" they are just ford parts with cpp stickers on them. Having said that when it came time to buy parts for my personal project I chose other brands that are more active on this site.

Thanks for the input. I plan to do some auto x with the car but 80% of the time the car will be driven on the street

1) I don't know whose arms those are if there the same as the eBay arms, if so I say NO.... I destroyed a set of those ball joints in one month (3 weeks actually) with only 2 events....that scared me! if the ball joint is that bad how bad is the steel and welding done by a Chinese kid for 50 cents a day...I worked at a speed shop I know what they cost wholesale and the mark-up

2) Those brakes work excellent, just use a good brake pad..Baer or Hawk

3) those spindles are good also but you need to run at least an 18inch rim, it would be awesome if it were a dropped spindle that would have given the rim more clearance around the arms a 17inch rims inner lip hits the upper ball joint mount


Like the brakes, like the spindles, just skip the arms

I ordered the "mini sub kit" for my wife's mustang and even though its not installed yet the quality looks really nice. The arms are 1 1/4" .120 wall DOM, the welds and powder coat are every bit as nice as RideTech, Maier, Hotchkis....

The BJ's are screw in and can be upgraded if they are of lesser quality. I can take some pics when I get home.

Are they made in China? Don't know.
Do Chinese kids make .50 a day? Not sure.
