Default Shifter Rebuild - Pro 5.0 for T-56

Hope somebody can help out. I have a T-56 that I'm putting into my project, and it has a Pro 5.0 shifter. I believe it is the original shifter for the car, as it came out of an original SLP Camaro with 140,000 miles.

When I had the transmission rebuilt, the technician that rebuilt the T-56 told me that the shifter wasn't too bad, but I should have it disassembled, cleaned and new rubber boot, wouldn't be bad to consider a rebuild for it, including new springs (which were the main concern) or a new shifter.

So, after some mock up and fitment in the car, I'd like to use the Pro 5.0 shifter. At minimum I need the rubber dust boot and a dis-assembly/clean-up/check for wear/new springs/new lube/reassembly. I've called and emailed Pro 5.0, no response (http://www.pro50.com/contactus.html). And they don't have an on-line store that lists a rebuild kit. Nobody else seems to have a rebuild kit readily available either that I can find, not even on ebay.

I've checked this site, LS1Tech, Camaros.net, camaroz28.com, etc, and most have said that there isn't much to go wrong with that particular shifter. The people who have them love them, and have had theirs rebuilt in the past.

1 - Does anybody have a way to get in contact with Pro 5.0 for a rebuild kit? Or know who stocks a rebuild kit?
2 - Does anybody out there do shifter rebuilds? I'd do it myself, but I'd like to have someone who knows what they are doing and what to look for do it for me.
3 - If it really is worn out, what do I need to look for before I decide to scrap it and go with another shifter. If the rebuild approaches $150, I'm done, I'll just buy a new one.
4 - I heard that Hurst rebuilds shifters, http://www.hurst-shifters.com/shifter-rebuild-program/ however it looks like they send it out to a third party.
HURST OFFERS A SPECIAL REBUILD SERVICE TO RESTORE YOUR HURST SHIFTER THROUGH OUR THIRD-PARTY REBUILDER! Who does the rebuild for Hurst?
5 - Is it worth contacting Jegs to see if they can get a rebuild kit? They seem to stock Pro 5.0 products.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated? Thanks for looking!!
